Has God pricked your heart?
Are you ready to explore how He might use you in Europe?
Because of the uniqueness of our ministry, we cannot list every opportunity we may have. Many opportunities are based on the people that work with us and the skills they bring with them. So we encourage you to start a conversation with us about how you may fit into the work God is doing through eDOT.
Internships
eDOT is looking for programmers, designers, and other tech-minded people to join us in creating smart device apps that will enliven, encourage, and equip God’s people.
Web and Mobile Application Developer
If you are excited about the creation of new applications and have the technical knowledge to create and code them, then you might have just the right skill set to be a web and mobile application developer. In this role, you will primarily work with the coding side of these newly created applications. However, you will work alongside the designers to ensure the applications look appealing for the user.
Technical Systems Administrator
As a Technical Systems Administrator, your main responsibility is in the development and upkeep of several servers and infrastructure that are housed locally, in remote locations and “in the cloud.” You will need to keep software up to date and creatively design infrastructure solutions with partnerships all around Europe and North Africa. Some of the things that may be housed on the servers that you will maintain are the discipleship multiplication training endeavors, Internet evangelism, missionary training, and much more.
Technical Project Manager/Volunteer Coordinator
If you are gifted at directing and delegating people, then an opportunity as a Technical Project Manager might be the right fit for you. In this position, you will largely work with volunteers to complete different pieces of technical projects. While it is useful for you to understand some technology and software development processes, being advanced in technology is not a requirement for this position. Rather, you should be able to keep projects moving, while encouraging and engaging volunteers from start to finish. A people person is a must!
Graphic Designer
Do you have a passion to use your God-given creativity to further the Kingdom in Europe? Are you a natural, no-box thinker ready to explore design in an entirely new way? As a graphic designer, you will not only be responsible for web, mobile application and print design, but learn how to best utilize these designs in a culturally sensitive fashion. You will also explore new design concepts and develop graphics for a variety of different systems and media.
UI/UX Designer
In this position, you will design web sites and web/mobile applications for various audiences across Europe, North Africa, and beyond. The primary focus of these programs will be on creating an effective user interaction and user experience so that the message of Christ is easily relayed and causes the maximum amount of impact. The designer must also creatively decide how to present this message in various forms, in understanding that the applications will be received differently depending on the cultural context. An ideal web and mobile application designer will be an innovative and creative, no-box thinker. This person will also partner with other areas for the marketing and distribution of new applications.
